We offer a variety of voter education programs about elections, the voting process, and issues. The League of Women Voters conducts voter service and citizen education activities. It is a nonpartisan nonprofit public policy educational organization, which:

 

  • Builds citizen participation in the democratic process.

     

  • Studies key community issues at all government levels in an unbiased manner.

     

  • Enables people to seek positive solutions to public policy issues through education and conflict management.

The League of Women Voters of Richardson is a nonpartisan, grassroots civic organization that encourages informed and active participation in government. The League works to increase understanding of major public policy issues and influences public policy through education and advocacy. Membership in the League is open to people 16 and older of all gender identities. With 100 years of experience, the League is one of America’s oldest and most trusted civic nonprofit organizations.
