Contacting Texas Legislators

How can I contact my Texas Senators and Representatives?

The 87th Session of the Texas Legislature runs from January 12 to May 31, 2021.  During this time, Texas Senators and Representatives will vote on bills that affect all aspects of our daily lives.

The League of Women Voters of Texas (LWVTX) has a list of legislative priorities for those issues on which it has taken positions through the study and advocacy process.  During the legislative session, LWVTX creates timely Action Alerts, urging voters to contact their legislators about these important issues.

LWVTX has also created an online tool that allows voters to contact their elected officials.  By entering your address, you can see a list of your elected officials, from President of the United States to City Council representatives.

The tool allows voters to craft a message to be sent to any or all of these officials.  The voter has complete control over the subject and content of the message.

View the current LWVTX Action Alerts and the tool for contacting elected officials.
