Richardson City Council Candidate Forum

FORUM VIDEO

On Wednesday, April 17, 2019, the League of Women Voters of Richardson sponsored a Candidate Forum for the Richardson City Council. Candidates for all seven places on the Council were invited to this forum; only candidates in contested races were asked to respond to questions. Unopposed candidates were given the opportunity to present closing statements.

The Candidate Forum was held in the Grand Hall of the Richardson Civic Center, 411 W. Arapaho Road, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The public was invited to submit questions to be asked of candidates in contested races at the forum. Questions that were emailed were given the same consideration as questions submitted at the forum. Questions were screened according to League of Women Voters of Texas Guide to Candidates Forums.

FORUM AUDIO CONCERNS

Unfortunately, a problem developed during the forum with the audio feed from Mr. DeGuzman's microphone to the video system. The audio in the Grand Hall was not affected, and the audience could hear Mr. Deguzman's responses.

CITV staff has worked on the audio to boost the sound levels for Mr. Deguzman's responses. The audio is not ideal, but it is audible. We apologize to Mr. Deguzman and to all the candidates for this problem.
